Who's up for a Livestream?

We wanted to ask our backers if they'd like to see a LIVESTREAM while we print the second issue this (on Sunday or Monday). We thought it would be cool as Rachel, Rob, and Marc will all be at the Factory in New York and color correcting on the fly. We are probably going to do it even if at least one person would like to see it! So who's first?

THIS IS NOT AN APRILS FOOLS JOKE! :)
For roughly a year, Golden Bell has been in talks with Nik Poliwko and Tom Simmons, the creative team behind the current rendition of Tarzan and many other properties at the Edgar Rice Burroughs Company. Today marks the day that we announce that we all finally came to an agreement to bring their original property, "Epoch", to The Sunday Comics. Further, "Epoch" will be permanently joining Golden Bell! Studios! A one page preview will be released as the back cover of The Sunday Comics for each issue (as fast as Nik can draw!) and after the third year of The Sunday Comics (that's right, you heard it here first), we will be producing an original graphic novel of Epoch. Mull that over while you wonder at the amazing awesomeness of the first 'episode' of Epoch from the First Issue! We hope that announcement was worth the wait; we have a couple other big ones coming out soon! If you think this one's big, wait till you see what the next creative announcement will be! Look out for this amazing issue in the middle of April!!!!!
All the best from, Marc, Rachel, Rob and the whole family at www.GoldenBellStudios.com

The Sunday Comics Issue #2 Coming Soon!

Science Fiction versus Sci-Fi?! I'd like everyone to welcome to the team, Michael Sacal! Michael has taken the position of Editor-In-Chief of Liberty Comics, Golden Bell's new Comic Book Division that handles all properties 13+. While we are still handling The Sunday Comics ourselves, I wanted to share this with you because of that first sentence.
EXTRA EXTRA! Golden Bell Presents Rip Rocket by Dave Mason & Rachel Korsen
Michael explained to me a few months ago the intricate difference between what Science Fiction and Sci-Fi is. I found these two really funny definitions online from a website run by Jason Voegele that I think you all may enjoy. Jason continues to quote here:
Science Fiction: "Fiction that imaginatively uses scientific fact and speculation to create a fantastic situation." That's what Webster says, anyway.
Sci-Fi: the term often used by the commonfolk to refer to those silly stories about spaceships and monsters, even if most such stories are really about something entirely different and probably not very silly at all. Usually.
A fan favorite returns! Jet Pack Jr. by Geoff Grogan
With that being said, we wanted to try and find a place where these two definitions don't clash but can instead coexist. This was one of the hardest things to do because we had so much content but we were struggling on how to create a cohesive theme for each issue. Rather then making an issue that might be just for one specific audience, we wanted to rather then single out some readers, we created an issue that encompasses both sides of the spectrum. One of our all-star creators, Mark Mariano, has been working on a revamped Flabbergast book called Science Friction! If that isn't one of the coolest new terminologies you've ever heard, we don't know what is! So stay tuned for that!
Behind The Scenes Issue 1: From Proofs
Over the next week or two we will be finalizing the print files to send off to the press in New York! I'm attaching a little flashback to some behind the scenes of when we were printing the first issue at the factory. Rachel was color correcting on the fly and it was one of the coolest experiences to witness. This next issue will be featuring some brand new creators and some more serialization to each of the stories you've been reading thus far!
Behind The Scenes Issue 1: To Plates
While we can only try to get people to draw faster, we will keep on working night and day to bring you some of the best content on the market. Backers will be in for a treat as we continue to grow, while we always apologize for the delay, we know that the end product and the extra upgrades we're including for everyone will more then makeup for such delays! Thank you everyone once again for being so supportive, you're all awesome!
Behind The Scenes Issue 1: And to Comics!
Best Regards, Marc, Rachel, and Rob and Golden Bell Studios
Last but certainly not least, Disconnect by Marc Goldner, Robert Gross, and Yifei Wang
